CONFERENCES DISSEMINATION
Important Update: Dissemination Conference Grants* Please note that *Dissemination Conference Grants* are intended to promote the Action’s activities at a conference — they are not primarily designed to present individual research. Therefore, only *one dissemination grant per conference* may be awarded.
While we acknowledge this limitation may disproportionately affect researchers over 40 from non-ITCs (as these grants are currently their only funding option), applicants are encouraged to frame their proposals with a clear, central focus on *disseminating the Action’s goals and outcomes*.
DISSEMINATION CONFERENCES are organized by a third party. The presentation topic in the conference must be in line with the aims and targets of the COST Action CA22115 “PhraConRep” and the Action MUST be acknowledged during the presentation.
Applications are to be submitted using the e-COST platform https://e-services.cost.eu/activity/grants.
A template for the application form can be accessed here: https://www.cost.eu/DisseminationConference_GrantApplication.
For details, please read COST Annotated Rules: https://www.cost.eu/funding/how-to-get-funding/documents-guidelines/.
Applications are to be submitted via the e-COST platform (https://e-services.cost.eu/activity/grants) and will undergo evaluation by a Committee comprising representatives from each working group.
Applicants are required to upload the following documents:
- Dissemination Conference Grant application form (template available on e-COST) describing alignment with the Science Communication Plan and expected impact.
- The applicant’s CV, including recent publications (limited to 1 page).
- Acceptance (or invitation) letter from the conference organizers.
- A copy of the abstract of the accepted oral presentation focused on promoting scientific achievements of the COST Action.
- A list of expected expenses.
Note: In the case of a joint presentation at a conference, only one presenter can be awarded a grant. By the time you submit your claim for reimbursement, you are required to submit a report, certificate of attendance, programme of the conference or book of abstracts / proceedings indicating the oral presentation and a copy of your presentation.
